Dowen College is a co-educational Secondary School offering both day and boarding facilities. The School was founded on the 6th of October 1997 and located at No. 18, Adebayo Doherty Road, Lekki phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria. The School offers both the Nigerian and British Curricula.

We are proud to say that in the last 20 years, Dowen College has recorded 100% successes in our external examinations and in our anniversary year, our WAEC results show a record of A1 – 36.3%, A1to B3 – 83.4% and A1 to C6 – 97.4%, 100% overall Pass.
Our dedicated, loyal and hardworking management and staff of Dowen College, who are readily committed to the ideals and motto of the school “TO BE THE BEST” helped to make this possible. Also, we have recorded 100% tertiary education achievement and all our alumni all over the world have excelled in their academics with many of them obtaining doctoral degrees and holding enviable jobs across the world.

Different scholarship opportunities exist in the school. They include;
1. Dowen College Scholarship Scheme which is available for all students that maintains an average score of 90% and above( for Junior Secondary) or 85% and above (for Senior Secondary).
2. Bishop Ademowo Foundation Scholarship Scheme
3. Cathedral Church of Christ Scholarship Scheme.
For the 2017/2018 session, Eighteen (18) students are currently enjoying the Dowen College Full-tuition Scholarship, Eleven (11) students are under the Bishop Ademowo Foundation 100% Full Scholarship and Ten (10) students are on the Cathedral 100% Full Scholarship, schemes.
